VIA Rail Canada is an independent Crown corporation established in 1978. VIA operates trains in all regions of Canada over a network spanning the country from the Atlantic to the Pacific, and from the Great Lakes to Hudson Bay.

• Advance purchase is required. For Sleeper class, bookings must be made no later than 1 day in advance of departure, and for Economy class no later than 3 days in advance of departure. For both classes bookings must be made no later than April 30, 2010.
• The number of seats and sleeping accommodations offered on this discount is limited.
• Once booked, tickets are subject to a service charge for refunds or exchanges:
• in Sleeper class: $50 (plus applicable taxes) per person, per direction
• in Economy class: 50% of the value of the trip is refunded/exchanged, per person, per direction (with a minimum $20 service charge). (Service charges do not apply to tickets issued for children 2–11 inclusive.)
• This promotion applies to new bookings only.
• If you are in possession of tickets issued under a different fare plan and wish to exchange them for this fare plan, any service charges applicable to your original tickets will be collected at the time of ticket exchange.
