Getting to Calgary

By Car

Calgary is 1.5 hours east of Banff, 11.5 hours east of Vancouver along the Trans Canada Hwy, and 8 hourrs northeast of Kelowna.


Moose Travel Network operates excellent jump on/jump off tours include Vancouver to Calgary via Banff and Lake Louise or separate tours of the Rockies from Banff or Calgary. Tours run 2-4 days for the Rockies region and longer on the overall West Passes from Vancouver.


The Greyhound station is located 877 Greyhound Way SW (403-260-0877). 
From Vancouver it costs $88Cn (15hrs); from Banff it is $27Cn (1.5hrs).


There is no rail service to/from Calgary! The nearest rail stop is in Jasper National Park or Edmonton, Alberta.
