BC Transit Vancouver’s public transport system includes buses, skytrains and seabuses and operates all services from 5am to 12:30 am. Fares are $2.50 for 1 zone, $3.75 for 2 zones and $5 for 3 zones. Day passes cost $9. Exact fare is required. After 6:30pm on weekdays and all day on weekends and holidays, the fare is only $2.50 to any zone. The Skytrain runs between Waterfront Station and the King George Highway in Surrey (about 30 miles south of Vancouver) between 5am and 1 am.
