DRIVING DIRECTIONS

FROM CALGARY/BANFF (Calgary = 187km; Banff = 58km)
Travel west on the Trans Canada Highway (#1) until you reach Lake Louise. Remember to get a National Park Pass at the Banff Gate!  Take the exit ramp off of the highway and turn left into the village of Lake Louise. At the first stop sign, turn right. The HI-Lake Louise Alpine Center is the second establishment after the bridge, on your left.
For the scenic route, take the Bow Valley Parkway from just west of the Town of Banff all the way to Lake Louise. The BVP ends at a T-intersection. Turn left at the 'T' and follow the road into the village. At the first stop sign, turn right. The HI-Lake Louise Alpine Center is the second establishment after the bridge, on your left.

FROM JASPER (233km)
Travel south on the Icefields Parkway (#93 N). Make sure you take lots of pictures and have a National Park Pass. Turn east on Highway 1 towards Lake Louise. Keep a sharp eye out for the exit to Lake Louise, it comes up fast (less than 1km) Turn right at the top of the exit ramp into the village. At the first stop sign, turn right. The HI-Lake Louise Alpine Center is the second establishment after the bridge, on your left.

FROM GOLDEN (84km)
Travel west on the Trans Canada Highway (#1) to Lake Louise. Turn right at the top of the exit ramp into the village of Lake Louise. At the first stop sign, turn right. The HI-Lake Louise Alpine Center is the second establishment after the bridge, on your left.
