Hey my name is steve bezanson and i've been researching backpacking across canada. im originally from halifax ns, east coast... and want to take a one way ticket to west coast somewhere in bc and slowly work my way back over the course of the summer. do you have any personal tips or things i should watch out for...ive read about hitchhikers hell in western ontario. but other then that im pretty green to the subject. id be going solo and i just want to do it and be free and have fun.
Will there be a place to exchange my U.S. dollars to American at the hostel or at the Seattle to Victoria docks?
