Rental rates for campervans out of Lille, France range from €413/week in winter to €693/week in summer for a 2 berth and €693/week in winter to €1043/week in summer for a 4 berth. Prices include unlimited miles, taxes and insurance.

Prices below include a fully equipped VW Campervan, 24/7 European Breakdown & Roadside Assistance, a package of 150 km/day or unlimited mileage, and Full Cover insurance for Europe including campervan liability insurance and passenger insurance. *Additional miles beyond the 150km/day are charged at €0.25€/km.

The above rates do not include: Fuel, airport pickup,  excess miles, reparation fees for damages caused by the hirer, the deposit of €1200held in the event of an accident or of damages in the vehicle with or without known third party and the amount of any fines and contraventions.

Insurance, Excess and Security Deposit

Insurance Excess, Security Deposit and Cleaning Deposit are combined into one deposit payment of €1200 which is payable by cash or credit card upon collection of your campervan. Your credit card will not be charged unless their is an accident or collision, whereby it will automatically be debited.

Terms and Conditions

The following are a few key terms and conditions. Full terms will be provided with your quote.

  • Minimum Rental Period: The minimum rental period is 3 days during low season and 7 days at all other times.
  • Booking Deposit: A deposit of 10% is due at time of booking and can be paid by credit card or Paypal.
  • Reservations: Full payment (less your booking deposit) for the rental fee and any additional equipment is required upon collection of the vehicle.
  • Rates calculation: Rates are calculated on a calendar day basis. Where a rental crosses into another season, the rate will split to allow for the new season rate.
  • Payments: Payment may be made by MasterCard, Visa or Eurocard
  • Security Deposit/Bond: Insurance Excess, Security Deposit and Cleaning Deposit are combined into one deposit payment of €1200 which is payable by cash or credit card upon collection of your campervan. Your credit card will not be charged unless their is an accident or collision, whereby it will automatically be debited. Additionally, campervan must be returned to the agreed location, on the agreed date and time interior clean, fuel tank full and all items are returned at end of rental in clean and full working condition as per the "Departure Check list."
  • Pick up – from 10am – 12am Mon-Sat. Pickups outside these times can be arranged with extra fee. Allow 1 hour to complete the documentation, collection of deposit and demonstration of vehicle.
  • Drop off – from 1pm - 4pm Mon-Sat. Allow 1 hour to complete the return formalities. There are no refunds for early returns.
  • Cancellations: If you cancel your reservation more than 6 weeks before your pick-up date: all payment already made will be reimbursed in full. If you cancel your reservation less than 6 weeks before the pick-up date: 50% of total hire will be charged.
  • Booking amendments: It is possible to extend your rental without incurring a fee so long as we have availability. It is possible to shorten your rental within 21 Days of pick up. Shortening a rental will be quoted as a new rental and will be calculated at the retail rate with any current specials not applicable. Shortening a booking within 21 days of pick up is at the discretion of management. Cancellation Fees may apply.
  • Driver's License/Proof of Identification: renters must present an ID of current validity/valid Passport (for non-European renters), a European or international driving license of current validity and an international credit card in his/her name. Driving License must have been held for at least 2 years.
  • Minimum Age of Drivers: All drivers must be 21 years of age or older. Proof of age must be ascertained by a valid driver's license. 
  • Boundary Limits: Campervans can only be taken within European Countries.
  • Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited by law in France in rental vehicles.

Where is Lille, France?
Lille can be easily reached by train or plane. By train, Lille, is 50-60 minutes from Paris airports, 90 minutes from London St Pancreas station and 40 minutes from Brussels. By plane, Lille-Lesquin airport runs to/from 70 destinations including European low cost airlines. Free airport or train station pickup is offered to the Lille campervan depot.

How do I book a Campervan?
Complete our Campervan Rental Inquiry Form  above to let us know pick up and drop off dates. We will then check availability and provide you a quote. To reserve your campervan, you must pay a total deposit of 50% - 10% payable to Bakpak at initial booking and 40% paid directly to supplier after receiving your confirmation number. The balance due is payable upon vehicle pick up.
How old must I be?
The minimum age to rent a campervan is 21 years old. Additional fees or higher security bonds may apply for those aged 21-24.
Where can I stay overnight?
In addition to campgrounds throughout Europe, you can park almost anywhere although you do need to check local parking ordinances and sign to make sure. Otherwise, you may get a ticket.
What does Insurance cover?
Insurance is part of the cost of the rental and includes Fully Comprehensive Insurance with 24 hour roadside assistance across all Europe.
Is a Security Deposit Required?
Yes, a €1200 imprint of your credit card is required to cover any damage to the campervan. Nothing is charged to your card unless an accident occurs.
What is the Minimum Rental Period?
3 days during Low and Mid Season, 7 days during High Season (summer).
Do you have right-hand drive vans?
Vans are left-hand drive vehicles, as in every European country except the UK (England, Scotland, Wales).
What about all the luggage I have?
There is plenty of storage space under the campervan seats. We recommend bringing soft bags rather than hard cases. If you still can't fit everything in, you can store bags in a secure lockup at the campervan depot free of charge.
What if I need to cancel?
If you decide to cancel, you will get all your money back if you cancel at least 6 weeks before the day of your departure. After this date, all deposits paid will be kept.
