Getting to Edinburgh
Edinburgh is an hour’s drive west of Glasgow and a 4-hour rail trip (6-7hrs by bus) north of London.
From the Airport
The Airlink operates between Edinburgh Airport and Waverly Bridge in the city centre (next to the main railway station) and costs £3 o/w or £5 r/t. Buses operate 24hrs, every 20 minutes during the day and every 30-60 minutes other times. The trip takes 25 minutes.
Coach
National Express/Eurolines buses arrive and depart from the St. Andrews Square Bus Station located on Clyde Street near Princes Street in the city centre.
Rail
The main railway station is Waverly, located in Edinburgh’s city centre, where trains arrive from both Scotland and England. Glasgow trains operate out of Edinburgh Haymarket Station.
