The main tourist info center is located at 11 George Square. Areas to check out include the Southside, West End, Old Town, East End, Merchant City, George Square and the area around the Glasgow Cathedral. Attractions to check out include Tenement House, the free Gallery of Modern Art, the highly regarded (and also free) Burrell Collection and Barras, Glasgow’s street market. The place to go for pubs and pub crawls is Byres Road, located in the West End.
