Thalys is a system of high-speed trains that travel around Germany, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. Trains travel between the main cities of Paris, Brussels, Cologne and Amsterdam, with trains also stopping in Aachen, Antwerp, Bruges, Charleroi, Ghent, Liege, Mons, Namur, Ostend, Aime La Plagne, Albertville, Bourg Saint Maurice, Chambery, Landry, Moutiers, Rotterdam, Schiphol, and the Hague.
Ticket prices differ depending on departure and destination cities. Tickets can be purchased in Comfort 1 (1st Class) or Comfort 2 (2nd Class). There are several different types of tickets available:
- Travel Freely - Maximum flexibility, right up to the last minute
- Travel Smart - The best flexibility/fare deal up to the day before departure
- Travel at Low Cost - Book earlier for even lower fares up to 15 days before departure
- Youth - Travelers aged 12-25
