Campervan Pricing
Rental rates are calculated per night (similar to a hotel stay: “check-in” (pick –up) is in the early afternoon and “checkout” (return) is in the morning) and based on the time of year. Prices may change frequently. When you fill out the quote request at the top right hand of this page, we will send you pricing and availability.
The base rental rate includes:people.
- Basic insurance cover for vehicle (US$1500.00 excess/deductible and $1500 bond applies)
- Statutory liability cover as required by law (also known as basic liability)
Taxes
a 10% surcharge is added to all rental charges to cover US Sales Tax, Levies & Administration Fees.

Mileage Packages
The Wavefarer campervan daily rate does not include miles. You can purchase 100 miles/day for $12/day or unlimited miles $25/day (minimum 7 night rental period for unlimited miles). Additional miles driven above what is included or what you prepaid for are charged at $0.25/mile.
Kitchen/Sleeping Gear
The Wavefarer campervan does not include these items.
- Personal Kits (bedding and linens) is $50 for 2 travelers or $100 for up to 4 travelers (paid per rental)
- Provisioning Kit: includes everything you need to cook and eat, for up to 4 for $115 total
One Way Fees
One way drop off fee is $175.
Optional Extras
- GPS: (max charge US$100.00 per hire) US$ 10/day
- Camp Chairs: US$10 each per rental
- Camp Table: US$25 per rental
- Solar shower: US$20 per rental
- Baby Seats: US$50 each per rental
- Booster Seats: US$50 each per rental
Campervan and Liability Insurance Options
There are two types of insurance for your rental, campervan cover and supplemental liability as follows:
Collision Damage Waiver
Covers damage to the campervan itself. Basic campervan coverage is included in the cost of the rental but there is a and $1500 bond requirement and $1500 excess/deductible which you must pay in case of damage to the campervan. You can purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Insurance which costs $15/day and reduces the excess/deductible to zero and the bond required to $500.
Liability Insurance
Protects you against 3rd party claims if you injure a person or damage someone else’s property. Basic Statutory limits for liability and property damage are included in your campervan daily rate. If your travel insurance does not include liability cover to US$1,000,000, you can purchase Supplementary liability Insurance (SLI) for an additional $10/day. This covers third party property and public liability to US$1,000,000.
