San Francisco - Yosemite - Death Valley - Las Vegas

This trip takes you on the inland route from San Francisco to Las Vegas. If you've already cruised the West Coast, then this is a great way to loop back down to Southern California. You'll visit popular California national parks, including Yosemite, Death Valley, Sequoia and Kings Canyon.

Enjoy fresh seafood and sourdough bread overlooking the beautiful San Francisco Bay. Head off into the magnificent wilderness of Yosemite and soak in the starry California skies. Mountain bike, ski, and snowboard around Mammoth Lakes. Get hot and bothered in the otherworldly terrain of Death Valley National Park, and get your hike on in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Find a bargain at the Barstow shopping outlets, and lose yourself in Las Vegas’s many gigantic hotels, fabulous restaurants and over-the-top performance venues.

Starting Point: San Francisco

Ending Point: Las Vegas

Time Frame: 10-14 days (including time in San Fran and Vegas)

It's about 6 hours to Yosemite National Park from San Francisco. On the other end of Yosemite, take Highway 395 south passing through Mammoth Lakes, Kings Canyon NP, Independence, Sequoia NP and Death Valley NP. At the end of Hwy 395, take Hwy 58 to I-15 where you can head to Las Vegas with a quick stop in Barstow for outlet shopping.
